Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC)

Supporting our client to obtain a new registration, leading to the recovery of a stranded aircraft onto the UK register.

Situation

After the demise of an international airline, our lessor customer was left stranded when the Aviation Authority refused to provide an Export C of A and would also not renew the expired Certificates of Airworthiness on two Boeing 737’s. The result was the aircraft could not enter onto the UK register.

Solution

We supported the lessor through our network in establishing, with an OTAR aviation authority, an acceptable method to allow the aircraft to obtain an OTAR 39 Registration and Certificate of Airworthiness.

Results

Once the aircraft obtained it’s registration and certificate of airworthiness, we were able to help support the import of the aircraft onto the UK register, meaning they were no longer left stranded with an uncooperative aviation authority.
