Rick Fieldwick
Chairman & Partner

Rick Fieldwick has extensive experience both as an Aircraft Engineer and Technical Consultant.
Rick is a partner and shareholder in FlyerTech.
A Multi "X" Rated Licensed Avionics Engineer by trade, Rick has worked as a Maintenance Engineer, Technical Services Engineer and Manager for several leading long haul public transport and freight airlines as well as smaller Regional Aircraft Operators and has complimented this broad experience with in-depth Business Management training.
Rick has also worked in the Aircraft Leasing sector and is familiar with the similarities and differences of each type of commercial aircraft operation.

Rick also has a great deal of experience in dealing with Information Technology. From writing and developing databases to designing and implementing Wide Area Networks Rick has successfully merged his aircraft maintenance and technology experience to bring unique systems management solutions to FlyerTech and consequently improve the quality of service that FlyerTech is able to provide its customers.

Rick maintains his Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licenses in the U.K., U.S.A., Australia, Swaziland and Ghana on a variety of aircraft types.


Steve Hodgkiss
Managing Director & Partner

Steve Hodgkiss is a dedicated airline executive with a proven track record of delivering engineering requirements on time and within budget.
A partner and shareholder in FlyerTech he is also a Type Rated Licensed Airframe and Engine Engineer by trade and has worked as a Maintenance Engineer, Technical Services Engineer and Senior Manager for several leading long haul public transport airlines and has complimented this broad experience with in-depth Business Management training.
Steve has also held the post of Engineering Director for a leading UK based Regional Aircraft Operator over several years.

Safety and airworthiness are Steve's primary aim with budgetary control and maintenance costs following close behind.
With a first class track record of controlling engineering/maintenance standards and costs within the airline environment Steve would be an asset to any aircraft operation.

Steve has held the position of Accountable Manager for a UK CAA based JAR145 and JAR OPS 'M' operation and is fully able to communicate and negotiate with Airworthiness Authorities and industry suppliers at all levels, thus ensuring that commercial, airworthiness and contractual requirements are met.

Steve also has extensive experience both as an Aircraft Engineer and Technical Consultant and maintains his Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licenses in the U.K.


Martin Bell
Operations Director

Martin is an Airframe and Engine Licensed Engineer in both fixed wing and rotorcraft (Helicopters).
Martin has worked as a Maintenance Engineer, Technical Services Engineer and Technical Manager.
Martin has also worked in the Aircraft Leasing sector and has a broad understanding of the technical and commercial requirements and regulations of operating and maintaining aircraft.

Martin completed his initial training as a Royal Air Force Apprentice and during the 12 years that he served in the Royal Air Force, Martin was promoted to Line Maintenance Manager and was responsible for managing in excess of 30 Engineers in a demanding operational and active environment.

An adaptable and innovative engineer Martin is also an accomplished Line Manager whose determination ensures tasks are carried out to the highest (Quality) standards within stringent time, legislative and budgetary constraints.
Martin and has complimented this broad experience with in-depth Business Management training.

Martin maintains his Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licenses in the U.K.
