FlyerTech today completed two Airworthiness Review Certificate renewals on two A320 Aircraft on behalf of WizzAir Hungary.

This month sees FlyerTech celebrate their 10th anniversary.
From the concept stages in 2000, Steve, Martin and Rick have faced many challenges and have made it through each and every one.
When FlyerTech started trading in June 2001 there was no CAMO regulation but 10 years later not only have FlyerTech become the first non aircraft operating company to hold Continuing Airworthiness Management approval under EASA Part M, but FlyerTech have also expanded into other areas having since received ARC and Permit to Fly Privileges.

31st MAY 2011 - ARC RENEWAL FOR CELLO

FlyerTech today completed an ARC Renewal on one Bae146-200 Aircraft on behalf of Cello who are also a Continuing Airworthiness Customer with FlyerTech.

26th MAY 2011 - PERMIT TO FLY PRIVILEGE FOR FLYERTECH

To compliment the current services that FlyerTech perform FlyerTech have received Permit to Fly Privileges from the UK Civil Aviation Authority in accordance with EASA Part M Sub-Part G, M.A.711(c) of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 2042/2003, to compliment FlyerTech's EASA Part M Sub-Part G Approval & Sub-Part I (ARC) Privilege.
This entitles FlyerTech to issue a Permit to Fly in accordance with EASA Part 21A.711(d) of the Annex (Part-21) to Regulation (EC) No 1702/2003, for any Aircraft operated on a Non Commercial Air Transport basis (such as for Lessor Aircraft between operating Leases) and registered in any EASA Member State.

FlyerTech today completed an Airworthiness Review for Aircastle on one of their A319 aircraft.

17th MAY 2011 - ROYAL FLIGHT FOR CELLO AVIATION

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh have arrived in Dublin on board Cello Aviation's Bae146-200 as part of her four day visit to the Republic of Ireland.
FlyerTech manage the Continuing Airworthiness of Cello Aviation's Bae146-200 and provide other support services such as Airworthiness Reviews.
The aircraft flew into Baldonnel military airbase, outside Dublin, before the royal party disembarked the aircraft to meet Irish President Mary McAleese who formally welcomed the Queen at Aras an Uachtarain.

29th December 2009 - FLYERTECH CAMO FOR BEXAIR

FlyerTech have signed a Continuing Airworthiness Management Agreement with Bexair of Bahrain. Bexair will use FlyerTech's CAMO services to assist with their operation of Challenger 604, Challenger 601 and Cessna Citation aircraft which will be operated by Bexair on VIP operations.

24th December 2009 - FLYERTECH ASSISTS FLYGLOBESPAN LESSORS

Following the collapse of Scottish based operator Flyglobespan, FlyerTech are assisting those aircraft Lessors who had leased aircraft to the failed operator in recovering their assets.

18th December 2009 - FLYERTECH CAMO FOR TITAN AIRWAYS

Following the successful completion of discussions between the two companies FlyerTech today signed a Contract with UK based Titan Airways to provide the Flag Carrier with Continuing Airworthiness Management Services for their Boeing 767, Boeing 757 and Boeing 737 fleets.

17th November 2009 - BANK OF SCOTLAND CAMO

FlyerTech have reached Agreement with Bank of Scotland to provide the bank, which is also an Aircraft Lessor together with their agent AMS Aircraft Limited, with Continuing Airworthiness Management services in relation to two Boeing 737-300 aircraft which is about to be placed into temporary storage.

30th October 2009 - BERMUDAN DCA APPROVAL FOR FLYERTECH

FlyerTech have today been approved by the Department of Civil Aviation in Bermuda to perform Continued Airworthiness Management on aircraft that are registered in Bermuda. This latest approval allows FlyerTech to assist Bermudan registered aircraft operators in more efficiently managing the airworthiness of their aircraft in the same manner that FlyerTech work under the terms of their EASA Part M Sub Part G approval.

27th October 2009 - FLYERTECH CAMO SERVICES FOR PRESTIGE JET

FlyerTech have signed a Continuing Airworthiness Management Agreement with Prestige Jet of Jordan. Prestige Jet will use FlyerTech's CAMO services to assist with their operation of one Challenger 604 aircraft which will be operated by them on VIP operations.

16th October 2009 - FLYERTECH'S AIRCRAFT RECOVERY SERVICES FOR NAC

FlyerTech have today reached agreement with the Danish turboprop leasing giant Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) to assist them with the recovery and possible storage of two former Alitalia operated ATR72 aircraft.

15th July 2009 - LUZAIR SIGN UP WITH FLYERTECH FOR ARC & CAMO SERVICES

Portuguese based ACMI specialist LUZair have contracted FlyerTech for their Airworthiness Management needs. FlyerTech will perform an Airworthiness Review of a Boeing 767 aircraft on behalf of LUZair and following the successful delivery of the aircraft to LUZair, FlyerTech will manage the Continuing Airworthiness of the aircraft.

6th July 2009 - AIRBUS A340 AIRWORTHINESS REVIEW FOR NOVUS AVIATION

FlyerTech have been contracted by Novus Aviation Services SA of Switzerland to perform an Airworthiness Review of one Airbus A340 aircraft. FlyerTech expect to complete the work during August on behalf of the Swiss based Lessor.

Following the signature of a Continuing Airworthiness Management services contract with Viking Airlines, FlyerTech have recently completed an Airworthiness Review of a Boeing 737-300 on behalf of the Sweden based operator.

1st June 2009 - CLIVE LEACH JOINS THE FLYERTECH TEAM.

FlyerTech are delighted that Clive Leach has joined their team as Technical Manager. Clive will be working very closely with both Airworthiness Review customers and staff where he will be able to bring to bear his significant experience within the Airline and Aircraft Leasing sectors. Clive joins FlyerTech from AMS Aircraft Limited where he was the Senior Vice President Technical responsible for the provision, management and administration of all technical and commercial issues with respect to Aircraft Lease Management on behalf of a wide range of clients.

1st June 2009 - FLYERTECH MOVES INTO NEW OFFICES

Following continued growth FlyerTech have now taken over additional office space on their Handcross site. The new offices increase FlyerTech's available office space by more than a half. Taking on the new office represents a significant investment in infrastructure and FlyerTech Management's confidence in future prospects.

1st May 2009 - NEW EASA MAINTENANCE PROGRAM APPROVAL FOR FLYERTECH

FlyerTech have been granted UK CAA and EASA approval for Indirect Maintenance Programme Approval, for UK registered Non Commercial Aircraft. This can be extended to other EASA registrations by the agreement of the NAA involved as the need dictates on a case by case basis. This latest approval compliments FlyerTech's existing EASA Part M and CAA A8 approvals.

30th April 2009 - LONGTAIL AVIATION CONTRACT FLYERTECH AS A CAMO

FlyerTech today announced their pleasure in the news that Longtail Aviation have selected FlyerTech as their Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) supplier for the provision of Continuing Airworthiness Management services to manage their fleet of executive aircraft. Longtail Aviation is a Bermuda-based executive aircraft charter company that provides best-in-class service to a variety of discerning business and leisure customers.

24th April 2009 - SECOND ASY AIRCRAFT COMES ON-LINE

Following the successful completion of an Airworthiness Review on another Boeing 767 on behalf of Air Seychelles, FlyerTech have been rewarded with the Continuing Airworthiness Management of the aircraft which has recently been delivered to the Seychelles based Flag Carrier.

17th April 2009 - AIRBUS A330 ARC’S FOR GULF AIR

Gulf Air have recently committed to an order to have FlyerTech perform Airworthiness Review services on three Airbus A330 aircraft.
The aircraft have been operated by Middle East Airlines and are in the process of being delivered to Gulf Air and introduced into their fleet.

10th April 2009 - ANOTHER ARC FOR ILFC

Following the successful completion of two Boeing 767 Airworthiness Reviews earlier this year for U.S. based aircraft leasing giant International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), FlyerTech has been requested by ILFC to perform another Airworthiness Review for import of a Boeing 767.

27th March 2009 - CAMO SERVICES FOR CIT AEROSPACE

Further to signing a Continuing Airworthiness Management Agreement with CIT Aerospace of Ireland, FlyerTech has commenced work delivering CAMO services on various CIT Aerospace Boeing 737-700 aircraft that have been temporarily placed in storage.

This latest acquisition brings the Astraeus Boeing 757 fleet up to 4 aircraft, all of which are managed by FlyerTech.

December 2007 - FLYERTECH COMPLETE HANDBACKS FOR ASTRAEUS

FlyerTech have assisted long term customer Astraeus in completing the handback of two of the Boeing 757 aircraft back to their respective Lessors.
The operating leases of these aircraft had ended and as such these handbacks represented a planned reduction in the size of the Astraeus Boeing 757 fleet.
The handback of each aircraft was completed on schedule without problems.

With the assistance of FlyerTech, BAE Systems have successfully completed the delivery of another RJ85 to Irish base operator CityJet.
This latest delivery is the eighth aircraft from a batch of ten RJ85’s that are due to be delivered to CityJet.

Following continued growth FlyerTech have now moved their complete Continuing Airworthiness Management operation into FlyerTech's second office.
The new facility is at Staplefield in West Sussex only a short distance from FlyerTech's existing offices in Handcross, West Sussex.

FlyerTech have today been selected by BAE Systems to provide Technical Support Services during the delivery process on 10 RJ85 Aircraft being delivered to Dublin base operator Cityjet.
The order covers a range of services during the transition of the aircraft from the previous operator to CityJet.

15th September 2006 - FLYERTECH AWARDED CONTRACT BY THE BRITISH ANTARCTIC SURVEY

FlyerTech have today been contracted to provide the British Antarctic Survey BAE Systems with an E3 Review of their DHC-7 Aircraft.

30th August 2006 - FLYERTECH PERFORM AUDIT FOR GREATER MANCHESTER POLICE

FlyerTech have recently received an order from the Greater Manchester Police fixed wing unit to perform an audit of their BN Defender Maintenance Provider, FlyBN on the Isle of Whight.
This follows on from similar audits which FlyerTech has in the past performed on behalf of the Hampshire Police Air Support Unit.

27th July 2006 - FLYERTECH WIN BAE SYSTEMS ASSET HEALTH MONITORING CONTRACT

FlyerTech have today reached an agreement with BAE Systems Regional Aircraft Asset Management to perform Asset Health Monitoring Services on their portfolio of Aircraft. The contract covers the in service review of BAE Systems Jets and Turboprops as well as their spare engines.
The Asset Health Monitoring activities compliment FlyerTech’s existing E3 and Lessor Services activities and consolidate FlyerTech as a supplier of a broad range of Aircraft Technical Services.
The award of this contract to FlyerTech comes on top of the submission of E3 Reports that FlyerTech have recently been commissioned to perform by BAE Systems.

20th July 2006 - GLOBESPAN ANNOUNCE THEIR SECOND BOEING 767-300 TO BE MANAGED BY FLYERTECH

Globespan have announced that they will shortly be taking delivery of their second Boeing 767-300. FlyerTech will be producing an E3 report for this aircraft.
FlyerTech are delighted that Globespan have also instructed that this aircraft will be managed by them.

FlyerTech have performed a Pre-Delivery Aircraft Inspection and Technical Records Audit of one ATR42 aircraft.
FlyerTech produced a Report and submitted it to PT Air Transport of Indonesia to assist them with the delivery and import process.

4th July 2006 - LINK AIR EXPRESS SIGN UP WITH FLYERTECH FOR CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGEMENT

FlyerTech have signed a contract with Italian Express Cargo Operator Link Air Express to provide them with Continuing Airworthiness Management services.
Link Air Express operate express an express cargo service throughout Italy and the Mediterranean using two ATR42-300 Aircraft both of which are configured as freighters.

3rd July 2006 - FIRST E3 SUBMISSION FOR BAE SYSTEMS

FlyerTech were delighted to submit the first E3 report that they have produced for UK Based Aircraft Lessor BAE Systems Asset Management.
The E3 Report was produced to cover one of BAE Systems Asset Management’s BAe146-200 aircraft that was in the process of being handed back from lease.

FlyerTech have performed a records review of a Boeing 737-300 on behalf of UK based operator Thomsonfly.
The review was designed to assist Thomsonfly with the importation of the aircraft onto the UK Aircraft Register.

18th May 2006 - E3 SUBMISSION FOR NAC OF DENMARK

FlyerTech have today completed their first E3 submission for Aircraft Lessor Nordic Aviation Contractor A/S (NAC) of Billund Denmark.
FlyerTech have provided Technical Services over a long working relationship with NAC who own and offer Operating Leases on a large fleet of ATR aircraft.
The subject of this E3 Report was an ATR42-300.

This brings the total number of ATR aircraft operated by Air Contractors and Managed by FlyerTech to 16 aircraft including the ATR42 aircraft that Air Contractors operate and which FlyerTech also manage.
FlyerTech now manage a total of 24 ATR aircraft for a variety of Operators.

FlyerTech are pleased to announce that due to continuing demand and increasing headcount they are expanding their offices.

30th September 2005 - FLYERTECH FIRST NON AOC HOLDER WORLDWIDE TO RECEIVE EASA PART M SUBPART G APPROVAL

FlyerTech are delighted to announce that they have been approved as a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation by the Civil Aviation Authority of the United Kingdom, on behalf of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), under the requirements of EASA Part M, Section A, Subpart G.

FlyerTech are the first organisation worldwide to be issued with EASA Part M Subpart G Approval without holding an Aircraft Operators Certificate (AOC).

The Issue of the Part M Subpart G Approval is the result of 3 years of hard work, alongside the CAA in developing FlyerTech’s capability and in demonstrating to EASA that FlyerTech are worthy of such an accreditation.

Steve Hodgkiss, FlyerTech’s Managing Director, commented that the issue of this approval was “the ultimate health check for FlyerTech as well as a huge tribute to the hard work and dedication of all of our staff.”.

21st July 2005 - VVIP CONTRACT IN SHARJAH

FlyerTech are very pleased to confirm they have signed a full Technical Management Agreement with AVISA, covering the Management of an Airbus A319 ACJ which is operated by The Rulers Flight Sharjah (RFS) in the United Arab Emirates.
Steve Hodgkiss commented that this represents two major steps for FlyerTech.
Firstly it is our first VVIP contract and secondly it is our first Airbus contract.

14th March 2005 - 7th AIR CONTRACTORS ATR TAKES FLYERTECH'S MANAGED FLEET TO OVER 40 AIRCRAFT!

When Air Contractors appointed FlyerTech as the Technical Management Organisation with the responsibility of managing the airworthiness of ATR72 MSN183, the latest addition to their fleet, the number of aircraft under FlyerTech’s management reached 40 for the first time.
FlyerTech’s Steve Hodgkiss and Rick Fieldwick were both delighted by the news.
FlyerTech issued the following statement; “In reaching a managed fleet size of 40 aircraft we have proven that the future of aircraft Continued Airworthiness management under EASA Sub Part G lies with independent organisations such as FlyerTech.
At FlyerTech we are able to remove from the operator the headaches that result from changes in fleet size such as recruiting staff and supplying other resources such as support systems and training.
This allows the operator to get on with what they do best, operating aircraft, whilst resting assured that the management of the airworthiness of their fleet is in the best possible hands.

25th February 2005 - FIRST FLYERTECH B757 E3 REPORT SUBMITTED

FlyerTech have today submitted their first Boeing 757 E3 report to the CAA.
Having become well established in producing E3 reports to assist the UK CAA in reviewing the Airworthiness Status of aircraft at the time of import onto the UK Register of Aircraft this particular report is the largest aircraft that FlyerTech have been involved with in relation to the E3 process.
The aircraft will be operated by Astraeus who commissioned FlyerTech to produce the E3 Report.
In common with the balance of the Astraeus fleet, FlyerTech will manage Astraeus’ new aircraft.

9th February 2005 - FLYERTECH COMPLETE THE ROLLOUT OF FAME

FlyerTech today completed the rollout of their new Maintenance & Engineering System, FAME (FlyerTech Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering system).
The conversion of al of FlyerTech’s customer’s databases is now complete and all of FlyerTech’s customers are now able to take advantage of the benefit of utilising FlyerTech’s FAME system across the Internet.
Rick Fieldwick said that today marked the successful end of the largest project ever undertaken by FlyerTech.
“It has taken us close on 2 years of development and a further 6 months of data conversion to reach the stage where we are now able to offer our customers unprecedented access to our systems”.
FlyerTech are the first Independent Continuing Airworthiness Management organisation to offer a web based Technical Management service.

12th January 2005 - ANOTHER AIR CONTRACTORS ATR FOR FLYERTECH

FlyerTech today announced that Air Contractors of Ireland have awarded them the Technical Management of another of their ATR42 aircraft.
EI-SLA will be managed by FlyerTech with immediate effect.

ATR42, N421TE was recently delivered to its new operator in Indonesia, following maintenance in Billund, Denmark.

18th August 2004 - FLYERTECH RESTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT

FlyerTech were today delighted to announce a Management Restructure that see’s their Technical Manager, Martin Bell, promoted to the Board of Directors.
Martin will take up the position of Technical Director with immediate effect.
Project Engineer Steve Wiltshire is promoted to Technical Manager and Steve Hodgkiss, FlyerTech’s Technical and Quality Manager becomes FlyerTech’s Managing Director.
Steve Hodgkiss commented that “since inception and particularly over the last 18 months FlyerTech has undergone many significant changes, with these changes in mind, we needed to adjust our company structure, to ensure that we continue to meet our customer’s requirements, provide a quality service and establish a firm base for the future.”.

10th August 2004 - TECHNICAL SERVICES ENGINEERING TRAINING PROGRAM UNDERWAY

Having invested significantly in their in-house training capability FlyerTech today announced that their Technical Services Engineering Training Program was now underway.
Having searched the Marketplace for suitable Technical Services Engineers Training Courses to no avail and in the absence of any assistance from central or local government, Steve Hodgkiss commented that FlyerTech’s future plans depended upon having access to a steady supply of skilled motivated engineers and that if the local education system could not supply local industry what it needs, FlyerTech would develop its own program to satisfy its own, and if required other company’s needs.

16th June 2004 - ASTRAEUS ADD THEIR FIRST BOEING 757 TO THEIR FLEET

Astraeus have now completed the acceptance of their first Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
Boeing 757 registered G-OAVB joins Astraeus’ fleet and will be technically managed by FlyerTech in addition to the 3 Boeing 737-300’s and two Boeing 737-700’s that FlyerTech manage on behalf of Astraeus.
FlyerTech’s Steve Hodgkiss noted that this was the first time that FlyerTech had managed a Boeing 757 and that the arrival of this new type brought the number of different aircraft types managed by FlyerTech to 10.

FlyerTech announced today that after a great deal of research and development they had finally completed construction of their new website.

19th May 2004 - ASTRAEUS FLEET CHANGES

Astraeus have now completed the acceptance of two more Boeing 737-700’s G-STRF and G-STRH which are their third and fourth examples of the type to enter service with the Airline.
The addition of these aircraft takes the Astraeus fleet size to 7 aircraft.

FlyerTech Limited, a UK based company has announced its intention to become the first independent organisation to offer Aircraft Technical Management services to operators.
In a statement FlyerTech’s Steve Hodgkiss said "At last the industry has a truly independent supplier of Aircraft Technical Services.
